When should a tree be removed?

     * A tree should be removed once it begins to show signs of rotting or decay and there is no new growth on the tree.

Is it safe to trim/prun a younger tree?

     * It is important to prun young trees in order to develope a strong branch structure. Prunning while a tree is young will prevent future branch defects.

What is the difference between topping and trimming/prunning?

       * Topping a tree is removing large and excessive portions from its structure and can interfere with a trees growth and development.

     * Trimming/Prunning a tree is safely removing select branches or limbs that will not damage the overall structure or growth of the tree.

When should a tree be topped?

     * A tree should rarely be topped. Trees require sunlight to grow and remain healthy. Removing large amounts of the upper branches will hurt its chance to survive.

What if The TREE MAN does not offer a service I require?

     * Though The TREE MAN does offer a wide variety of services, on rare occasions certain services may be subcontracted. If a required service is not listed on the website, just give us a call and we will see what we can do.
